Wounded warrior MSgt (ret) Blaine Scott, USMC, and his wife Lilly and family will be enjoying a brand new home in New Braunfels with the assistance of ‘Helping a Hero’.   They will be moving to a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 bath home this weekend that will accommodate the needs of MSgt Scott and his wife in their passion to minister to other wounded warriors.

Conn’s furniture assisted with a ‘massage chair’ readily available in the master bedroom for MSgt Scott’s personal use.  They also installed a 65 inch TV in the family room of their soon-to-be home for the family to enjoy.

The entire house, which has two children’s bedrooms and a master bedroom, will be filled with furniture provided by Rooms to Go.  Also, a ‘Wounded Warrior’ room, where MSgt Scott and Lilly plan to host other wounded warriors who need support, will be furnished by Rooms to Go.

A home is not a home until you make it your personal castle.  MSgt Scott, an avid sportsman, will have plenty of wall space for his treasured trophies as well as the family photographs that will adorn the bedroom, family room and other areas in the home.  Photographs make memories come alive and for this couple, memories are extremely important.

A celebration and welcome home ceremony will be held on April 3, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at the home just outside New Braunfels on SH 46 W. The address is 5758 Keller Ridge in the Copper Ridge subdivision.  All patriots are invited to help welcome the Scott family and to enjoy the festivities, which will include Lee Greenwood who will sing ‘God Bless America’ as only he can.
